Our employees deliver work of the highest quality. Our activities comply with various (accreditation) standards. Independent external organisations audit these activities.

Our certifications and accreditations

We hold organisation-wide certification in compliance with NEN-EN-ISO 9001: 2015. We have also been awarded the following certification:

• ISO/IEC 17020:2012 (I131);
  • competence of bodies performing phytosanitary import inspections
  • visual inspection of plant material for trueness to variety or species and varietal or specific purity, health and external quality
• NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (L549); competence, impartiality and consistency of seven laboratory operations
• CPVO Entrustment; variety testing, all crop categories
• ISTA Accreditation (NLDL02); sampling and seed analysis.

Results of the external audit of ISO 9001 certification

In April, the annual audit by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) for Testing & Analysis and  Inspections took place. The ISO 17020 accreditation was extended. The ISO 17025 accreditation was successfully completed, subject to additional conditions. The audit found that Naktuinbouw has a functional quality management system and that the accredited activities are properly performed by dedicated and expert personnel, using appropriate resources and facilities. The laboratory faces a challenge in completing the tests and corrective actions on time. An additional verification audit was required to assess these corrective actions.

ISTA accreditation extended for three years

In April, the triennial ISTA audit was conducted for Testing & Analysis and for sampling at Inspections. The audit was successfully completed, and the accreditation has been extended for three years.
