Naktuinbouw is also taking its responsibility in helping to contain further spread of coronavirus. Naktuinbouw is following the advice, guidelines and measures of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and the Dutch government. How will this affect you?

Where possible, our inspection and laboratory activities will continue. Our inspectors are taking precautions to prevent them from spreading coronavirus. They observe the protective measures at the companies they visit. We will ask you in advance if visiting the site is safe to prevent them from performing inspections that involve any risks. They will minimise interaction with people on site.
What are the implications for inspections at your site?
Preventing the virus from spreading is not something you can do alone. But we can do it together! We expect your full cooperation to make a visit to your company possible. Our inspectors will not take any risks to their personal safety. They have been instructed to stop a visit if there are any unnecessary risks. We rely on your cooperation and understanding in this matter. It is also to your benefit to have your products ready to enter the market on time.
We expect the following measures to be applied when an inspector visits your company:
- If there is anything unusual, report any particulars immediately on arrival.
- Avoid all unnecessary contact. Just one person should preferably accompany our inspector.
- Keep a sufficient distance (at least two metres) from each other.
- Place documents ready at an appropriate distance.
- Be patient! Sometimes using a different working method requires a little extra time and effort. We are making every effort to work as efficiently as possible.
What are the implications for testing your samples in our laboratory?
We will continue to perform our work in the laboratory. For the time being, there is no change in our lead times and service. However, this situation could change if other measures are announced in the Netherlands or if the supply of samples unexpectedly increases.
The situation may change at your company/laboratory, resulting in you sending more or fewer samples to Naktuinbouw. We would like to be well prepared for this eventuality. Please inform us about the number of samples you wish to submit in the near future or any expected changes to the number of samples, as well as which tests you want us to perform. This can be done by e-mail.
Please submit all your samples to us by post or courier service. If it is absolutely necessary and there is no other option than to deliver your package yourself, please contact our Laboratories in advance on + 31 (0) 71 332 61 50 or by e-mail.
PLEASE NOTE our telephone accessibility has been reduced. Preferably contact us by e-mail.
Do you have to visit Naktuinbouw or do you want to deliver your sample?
Any planned meetings with third parties and educational institutions at Naktuinbouw sites have been postponed. We will inform you as soon as new dates are available. Visits that are strictly necessary for the continuation our work will still take place in specific cases after consultation. For example, to authenticate certificates or deliver material. This must be agreed in advance because our employees are working from home as much as possible. Staffing levels at our sites are minimal. Please note that the minimum staffing levels at our office may delay your process.
When visiting Naktuinbouw, we will naturally take precautions and apply hygiene measures. However, we strongly urge you not to visit Naktuinbouw unless it is strictly necessary. If you do have to visit Naktuinbouw, please observe the following conditions:
- You do not come from a risk area, and have not recently visited a risk area.
- You have not been in contact with a patient affected by coronavirus or anyone with symptoms/who has presented symptoms.
- You should not present any symptoms of a cold, a cough or fever when you visit us.
- Observe the prescribed distance of two metres from our employees.
- Hand over your package without any physical contact at the reception.
