NIVIP performs confirmation test for Ralstonia solanacearum in seeds of tomato and sweet bell pepper

From 1 January 2025 Naktuinbouw Testen & Analyses is obliged to have a confirmation test for Ralstonia solanacearum performed at NIVIP. This is the laboratory of the NVWA. We do this for the samples in which we detect Ralstonia solanacearum.

Final results follow after the confirmation test

Before we send the sample to NIVIP, the customer receives a provisional result. On this we state that the sample has been forwarded for verification. Once we receive the result of the confirmation test, we issue a final result.

Additional costs for the confirmation test

When a confirmation test has been performed, we charge an additional fee of €183.00* for it. This is the rate NIVIP charges Naktuinbouw for performing the confirmation test.
