Data system issues cause delays in the laboratory

We would like to inform you about a disruption within our organization. We believe it's important to be open and honest about what is going on, what we are doing about it, and what this means for you.

What is happening?
This week, a problem has occurred in our data system, causing it to run much more slowly than usual. We don’t yet know the exact cause. The laboratory is especially affected, as it processes a large amount of data.

What are the consequences?
Due to the system slowdown, we are currently unable to send out results. It’s also not possible to register new samples at the moment. If you have registered samples digitally via mijnNaktuinbouw, you may notice the process is stuck. In that case, there’s no need to submit them again.

What are we doing about it?
We already have two technical solutions ready, but they are too complex to implement right away. Starting Monday, July 7, a dedicated crisis team will begin working to solve the issue step by step and to find temporary solutions in the meantime.

What can you expect from us?
We do not expect the issue to be fully resolved within the next few days. We will keep you updated weekly via our website. We understand that this situation is especially frustrating, especially on top of existing delays in the lab. Please know we are doing everything we can to fix the problem as soon as possible. We ask for your understanding: if we receive many questions, this unfortunately takes time away from solving the issue.
