Collaboration in DUS research

On May 23, Naktuinbouw signed an agreement with the Chinese Institute of Vegetables and Flowers (IVF), Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS).

Over the next 5 years, efforts will be made to harmonize DUS research in five crops. In addition, consideration is being given to which research projects can be collaborated on to achieve better DUS research.

The meeting was organized prior to the ISF seed conference in Rotterdam. Both the Dutch and Chinese delegations gave two presentations on the system of plant breeders' rights testing and admission to the National list.
