Transition to PCR for Ranunculaceae and Verbenaceae postponed

We previously announced that from October 1st, we would introduce the PCR testing method for crops in the Ranunculaceae and Verbenaceae families, replacing ELISA. This transition has now been postponed until further notice.
PCR tests still under development
At this time, not all PCR test protocols are ready. We will not be able to validate them before October 1st. Therefore, we have decided to continue using ELISA for crops in these families for the time being.
Further planning per family to follow
We are currently working on a new planning schedule per family. We expect to resume the introduction of PCR as a replacement for ELISA starting in 2026. As soon as more details are available, we will inform you.
Check the website for an overview of all crops where we only perform PCR virus testing.
