Change in procedure for incomplete or unclear test requests

From 1 October 2026, an adjusted procedure will apply to samples submitted to our laboratory without a complete or clear request. In that case, the customer will receive one request for additional information. If we do not receive that information within 10 working days, the sample will be removed from the process.

When is a request incomplete or unclear?

This concerns, for example, samples for which the submission form is missing or for which essential information is missing, such as the crop, the test, quantities or method. In that situation, the customer will receive one email requesting the missing information. The customer then has 10 working days to complete the request.

What happens if information is missing?

If we do not receive the missing information within 10 working days, the sample will be

removed from the process. In the case of plant material, we will destroy the sample. In the case of seed samples, the customer can collect the sample.

When does this procedure apply?

The adjusted procedure will apply from 1 October 2026 to samples we receive without a complete or clear request.
