Ready for the future

The year 2023 was dominated by a number of challenges to make Naktuinbouw future-proof. Acting chairman Wim Nijssen looks back on a successful appointment of a new director and chairman of the board. We also worked hard on a new organizational structure. We implemented this process and customer-oriented organizational structure at the beginning of 2024.

Collaboration LNV / NVWA and knowledge sharing

Our supervisors also look back on good cooperation. In two featured articles we zoom in on new EU regulations that are important to our work and the agreements we made with the other inspection services. We share our knowledge and enjoy working with others, at home and abroad. This annual report provides an overview.

The figures

And of course the figures about our inspections, finances and other activities for 2023 are not missing. Naktuinbouw ends the year with a negative result. If we delve deeper into the figures, it appears that lower turnover caused this. This is mainly because the turnover from our services across the entire width of the organization lagged behind expectations. On the cost side, we stayed within the budget limits.
