Field inspection

Field inspection in seed production

How do you carry out a systematic field inspection?
What should you look for when assessing varietal identity, varietal purity and plant health?
And how do you record your findings clearly and objectively?

This training introduces you to the basic principles of field inspection in seed production.

You will learn to identify and assess risks, recognise deviations, and determine appropriate follow-up actions.
Through practical exercises in our trial fields, you will practise inspecting crops, assessing your observations and reporting your findings.

This training is intended for employees of seed companies who carry out field inspections or are preparing to take on this role.
