Resistance tests in ornamental crops

The Dutch government promotes resistance breeding in ornamental crops, because resistance is an attractive alternative for chemical crop protection.

We support this policy by offering resistance tests to companies, until now only with Chrysanthemum and Carnation.

Also, we support tests by third parties by delivering isolates. Isolates will normally need a multiplication cycle before they use in a resistance test. We can also deliver inoculum, enabling inoculation without multiplication.

We also develop new resistance tests, together with companies that are willing to support this.
