GSPP (Good Seed and Plant Practices)

Good Seed and Plant Practices (GSPP) is an international, transparent business chain system. It was established by the sector to prevent pathogen infections in seeds and plants. Naktuinbouw performs audits at companies that wish to apply for accreditation, or at companies that are already GSPP-accredited.

About the inspection

The purpose of the quality system is to prevent tomato seed and plant lots from being infected by Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis (Cmm). Accredited companies work using quality assurance management systems, work methods and information supplies that comply with the standards set by GSPP. The GSPP foundation oversees and manages the GSPP system.
